Washington, D.C. - Standing up to President Biden's army of bureaucrats and fighting for energy price relief for America's families are key elements of the newly released House Consolidated Appropriations Act. In response to the measure, Power The Future Founder and Executive Director Daniel Turner released the following statement:

"Enough is enough, Joe Biden is pushing through his extreme climate agenda by using every corner of the administration while using our tax dollars to do it. By cutting back funding on Biden's army of bureaucrats, this appropriation bill will send the message that driving up prices on our families is no longer acceptable. We commend Chair Granger for reclaiming congressional authority from a rogue administrative state that uses unappropriated funds to advance an agenda that neither Congress nor the American people support."

According to a release, the Consolidated Appropriations Act includes the following key provisions:

  • Cuts funding for the Environmental Protection Agency by almost 10 percent

  • Cuts Biden's "Environmental Justice" budget request by $275 million

  • Helps protect farmers and ranchers from onerous regulations.

The bill is expected to be voted on in the House this week.
