"Oh! Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
(Tell me!) Which side are you on?
Which side are you on?
We'll fight against DOGE!
We'll fight Elon Musk
The Elon scab within our walls
We'll fight from dawn to dusk!
Oh! Which side are you on?" — Feb. 11, 2025, American Federation of Government Employees singing an updated version of "Which side are you on?", a Harlan County, Kentucky protest song during the coal miners' strike in the 1930s.

Oh boy, now Dems have publicly resorted to the "F-word" when describing their disdain for Donald Trump.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any nastier — or dumber — Democrats find a way to outdo themselves.

Not content with calling Trump "Hitler" and his followers "Nazis" during the presidential campaign last year, several Democrat Congressional Representatives have recently resorted to cackling to a crowd that their opinion of the President hasn't changed.

"F*** Donald Trump!" has become their new cheer.

An American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) protest rally outside the Capitol on Feb. 11, included several U.S. Representatives who stepped to the mike and voiced their disapproval of President Trump and his campaign to expose rampant waste, fraud and corruption within government agencies.

Why would someone oppose waste, fraud and corruption within the government? Apparently, Democrats do.

Among them, Oregon Rep. Maxine Dexter (D) informed the crowd "I don't swear in public very well" and then proceeded to qualify that with her "F*** Donald Trump" outburst.

So much for her 15 minutes of fame.

Rally goers also participated in singing off-key an old 1930s era coal mining protest song "Which side are you on?" Not exactly the caliber of Bob Dylan's 1963 Vietnam War lament "Blowin' in the wind," but they tried.

I suppose the FDT exclamation was the brainy creation of one of their more intellectual leaders. Mass. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D), perhaps. She also mimicked Dexter's theatrical "FDT" wisecrack.

Keep in mind, these people are government employees, which means their jobs, benefits and work environment are paid by your taxes.

Similar to the rendition of "Which side are you on?", a variant of the "FDT" shout was originally conceived by a vocal gathering of NASCAR fans at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama on Oct. 2, 2021.

With a throng of stockcar enthusiasts erupting into an extemporaneous chant of "F*** Joe Biden!" a clever NBC Sports announcer — attempting to muffle the jeering — spoke-over the yelling with her impromptu "Let's Go, Brandon!" when interviewing driver Brandon Brown.

Her efforts failed. It was clear and loud what the fans were screaming — and it wasn't "Let's go, Brandon!"

Nevertheless, with the help of social media, the "Let's go, Brandon!" phrase rapidly amped into a universal jab against President Joe, while at the same time becoming a rallying cry for Trump.

Other sports venues, T-shirt vendors and bumper stickers soon cashed in on the fad. Even "Let's Go, Brandon!" spectator waves were seen in college stadiums.

A change was coming. Joe's last chance at regaining the Presidency ended in an abysmal televised performance during his debate with Donald Trump. Soon after, the Democratic National Committe removed Joe and replaced him with Vice President Kamala Harris.

Another mind-numbing blunder that didn't work, either.

Now, over three years later, Dems have resurrected the incantation and redirected it to Trump. As if their antics are a newly minted stunt, springing from the combined genius of their world renown pool of deep thinkers.

With Joe and Kamala out of the picture, and no coherent presidential aspirant attracting anyone's attention, the Blue Party is in kind of a jam.

Faced with the stark realization they're in desperate need of a middle-of-the-road candidate who will not suddenly wander into the ultraliberal woke wilderness of some of their associates, DNC strategists will have to at least pretend they are searching for a reasonable contender, reflecting concerns and hopes of ordinary citizens.

Especially, since Joe Biden assured us he was going to be a "uniter" and then abruptly did the exact opposite. Democrats may find it difficult to fool the people again.

For certain, it'd be a mistake to prop up Kamala. Her inept and costly venture into presidential politics was a qualified mess. Especially after she blew through $1.5 billion dollars during her abbreviated campaign. Much of the money is still unaccounted for. It went somewhere or into someone's pockets; no doubt about that.

In the meantime, it's looking like the only thing Dems can do is continue pounding the "We hate Trump" drum, holler "impeach" half a dozen times a day, conjure schemes to impede his Presidency and dream up more fantasy tales and Russian collusion hallucinations.

Just as they've done for the past ten years. And, predictably, the mainstream press will continue to obediently follow along, bobbing their heads in simultaneous agreement.

Dems might, however, want to spend a little more time working on their vocabulary. As smart as they profess to be — with all their framed degrees, honors, awards and Hollywood adorations — it might be a good idea to insist their speech writers use fewer four-letter curse words when slamming Trump and more encouraging statements of what they intend to do to make things better.

That's the real challenge. Surely, there's someone within the party who has enough sense to realize their way of doing things is rapidly losing its appeal.

DEI, open borders and drag shows are no longer in vogue, nor are the queens, sanctuary hucksters and cross-dressing admirals promoting them. It was fun while it lasted, but Sleepy Joe's finally gone full time to the beach, and it's back to the real world for the rest of us.

If Democrats want to be a part of it, maybe they had better begin acting like it. Otherwise, they can continue to piss and moan about how badly they're being mistreated — and Trump is the root cause of it all.

Then, we'll see how many fewer Electoral College votes they get next time.
