New Mexico has been blessed with a temperate climate, blue skies, vast open spaces, beautiful landscapes, rich culture, one of the largest oil and gas reserves in the world and an absence of natural disasters. Yet, WalletHub listed the 10 worst US states to live in based on five key metrics. It assessed each state's affordability, economy, education and health, quality of life, and safety. Louisiana was ranked the worst state to live in, followed by New Mexico.
With so much going for it, how can we rank in the bottom ten states for so long?
A bad performing year or two can be circumstances. But New Mexico has performed so poorly for so long with so many resources it can only be the result of the Democratic Party’s Leadership in Santa Fe and the Republican Party Leadership not taking the necessary steps to win elections.
Choosing Mick Rich as the next RPNM Chairman is the first step toward making New Mexico a Top Ten State. The path to success is simple and challenging.
- We cannot carry both resentments and the Republican Banner and win the elections. No matter how justified we may feel, the future of New Mexico depends on us solely focused on working together to win elections.
- Donald Trump won by welcoming the hardworking people across the nation into the Republican Party. To win, we need to be more welcoming than Donald Trump.
- The Republican Party must be the foundation for the counties and candidates for local, state, and federal offices.
Mick Rich is a proven leader that will bring a fresh perspective to the RPNM. He has shown how to bring people together to succeed, will grow the party to rival any party in New Mexico, develop strategies to win and he is committed to raise the funds necessary to take on the Democrats.
I have always been committed for “New Mexico to be in the Top Ten of States”. Republicans winning is the second step after electing Mick Rich.
