Keynote Speaker Dr. John Langelier
Dr. John Langelier delivered the keynote lecture for the 158th birthday celebration for Fort Bayard. The event was held in the New Deal Theater at the fort, and included Dr. Langellier's talk on the Reverend Allan Allensworth, who served as the post chaplain at the fort in the 1890s. Attendees also received an update on the activities of the Fort Bayard Historic Preservation Society, and enjoyed birthday cake and refreshments after the program.
