Silver City, NM – Message from Robert Whitaker, CEO:
Dear Gila Regional Community Members,
Gila Regional Medical Center is embarking on its first ever Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). A component of our plan is to have a community townhall to allow you to have input into the assessment. This is in addition to forum groups, surveys, and other modes of hearing from you about the health needs of our community.
To have the best turnout possible at the Community Health Needs Assessment townhall, I am postponing the GRMC Community Update Townhall that was scheduled for May 28. I know this might seem a bit confusing, which is why I want to consolidate our efforts into the Community Health Needs Assessment. It is important to me that your input in this needs assessment is given and I am working to allow every opportunity and mode of feedback as is reasonably possible. The date of the Community Health Needs Assessment townhall has not been set but will occur within the next 3 months.
Thank you for your understanding as we move forward with improving the lives of our community through compassionate care.
