On Saturday, June 22nd, Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) hosted its fourteenth annual Jump Into Summer event. The event saw an impressive turnout with over 575 registered participants and an estimated more than 700 attendees.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage with various local healthcare system participants, including HMS Nutrition and Medical, Behavioral Health, Dental, Nursing, Administration, Senior Services, and Family Support divisions. The event also featured participation from several other organizations such as Ambercare, Amplified Therapy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, New Mexico Department of Health, Grant County Sheriff's Office DARE, GRMC Beginning Years, Gila Regional Medical Center, Imagination Library, Life Link Training Institute, Molina, Santa Clara Volunteer Fire Department, Silver City Fire, Silver City Library, Silver City Police, United Healthcare, U.S. Forest Service, WNMU, and WNMU Early Childhood Education.
Participants had the opportunity to complete their passports by visiting each healthcare table, making them eligible for free giveaways. HMS awarded six bikes and six scooters as grand prizes.

In addition to learning about the local healthcare system, attendees enjoyed a variety of local food vendors including Iron Door, Mint Chip, Taco Stand, Taildragger, and TGI Frybread.
The event featured several fun activities such as waterslides, bounce houses, face painting, a mechanical bull, and more, ensuring a great time for everyone involved.
