The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:

Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting â€“ April 23, 2024

B. Trails and Open Space Advisory Committee by Harry Browne

C. Update to Land Use Code and Housing Plan

11. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Â Approval / Disapproval of an amendment to the IAFF Union Agreement ending onÂ Â Â Â

June 30, 2025.

B. Approval / Disapproval of an amendment to the FOP Union Agreement ending onÂ Â Â Â

June 30, 2025.

C. Approval / Disapproval of a NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCEÂ Â Â Â

AMENDING CHAPTER 10, BUSINESSES, ARTICLE II, BUSINESS

REGISTRATION AND LICENSING, SECTION 10-21, PARAGRAPHS (a) (6)

AND (b) (7), SECTION 10-22, SECTION 10-23, PARAGRAPHS (b) AND (c), AND

SECTIONS 10-24 THROUGH 10-28, AND ARTICLES III, V, VI, AND IX, OF

THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO.

2026-2030 INFRASTUCTURE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (ICIP) FOR THE SILVER CITY SENIOR CENTER.

E. Mayors' reappointment to the Trails and Open Space Advisory Committee.

F. Mayors' appointment to the Municipal Museum Community Advisory Group.

12. Approval / Disapproval of cancellation of the May 28, 2024, Regular Town CouncilÂ

Meeting.
