LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:
Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting – February 25, 2025, Regular Town Council Meeting this new administration.
3.CEREMONIES – Town of Silver City Employee of the month.

A. High Desert Humane Society Annual Report
B. Planning & Zoning Presentation Sites Southwest on Land Use Code Update
C. Stage 1 Fire Restrictions

11. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Approval / Disapproval of a Public Celebration Permit Application for Tour of the
Gila VIP Beer Garden for April 26, 2025, with alcohol served from 1:00 pm to 6:30
pm at 601 N. Bullard Street, Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1).
Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, License #SBL-000032, 203 S. Mill Road,
Silver City, NM 88061.
B. Presentation by Bobby Shaw regarding SPIN
C. Presentation by PNM on Public Safety Power Shutoff.
D. Approval / Disapproval of RESOLUTION 2025-09: A RESOLUTION FOR
APPROVAL OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO'S CAPITAL OUTLAY PUBLIC
INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING FOR SILVER CITY'S MAINSTREET GREAT
BLOCKS PROJECT.
E. Approval / Disapproval of RESOLUTION 2025-10: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE EMERGENCY OPERATING FUNDS OF THE NEW MEXICO BOARD OF FINANCE FOR THE HENRY V. "LA BURRA" MORALES RECREATION CENTER BY THE TOWN OF SILVER CITY COUNCIL.
12. Approval / Disapproval of Closed Executive Session pursuant to NMSA 1978 10-15-
1(H)(6), meetings subject to the attorney-client privilege pertaining to threatened or
pending litigation in which the public body is or may become a participant.
13. ADJOURNMENT
Agendas are available prior to the meeting and may be obtained at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway and City Hall Annex, 1203 North Hudson, or on the Town's website, www.townofsilvercity.org. If you have any questions regarding the public hearing, you may contact the Town Clerk at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway or call 534-6346.
