The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:

Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting â€“ June 11, 2024

REPORTS: Presentation from Silver Schools Superintendent William Hawkins on

Special Election on the Tax Extension and the G O Bonds.

PUBLIC HEARING: Approval / Disapproval of ZC 24-01 Request for a Zone ChangeÂ

for Katheryn Eaton 3155 Pinos Altos Rd., Silver City, NM 88061.

11. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Â Approval / Disapproval of a Public Celebration Permit Application for a 2024 GalaÂ

in the Garden on July 20, 2024, with alcohol served from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the

Commons, 501 E. 13th St., Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1).

Open Space Brewing, License # 67185, P. O. Box 2369, Silver City, New Mexico 88062.

B. Approval / Disapproval of a NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT AN ORDINANCEÂ

AMENDING CHAPTER 9, - AFFORDABLE HOUSING, PURSUANT TO THE

AFFORDABLE HOUSING ACT; DEFINING TERMS; ESTABLISHING

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND REVIEW CRITERIA; AND

ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES TO ADMINISTER AN AFFORDABLE

HOUSING PROGRAM, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF

SILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO.

C. Mayors' Reappointment to the Municipal Library Community Advisory Committee.
