In the waning hours of the Presidential campaign, Dems are resorting to previously tried and failed tactics by referring to Trump as a latter-day Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini or any number of notorious dictators.
Maybe, all rolled into one.
Good grief, can't someone within the party come up with something a little more creative — and believable? The "Trump is worse than Hitler" tirade is getting a little old. Particularly in an era when a lot of people are not familiar with the atrocities committed by a German madman nearly a century ago.
I seriously doubt if 15% of the folks are actually informed of what the Nazi Party was, how it came into existence, who were its principal proponents, what it did, how many deaths it caused, what was necessary to stop it, and what happened to its leader, Adolph Hitler?
American politicians — who should know better — routinely prattle about the similarities between Hitler and an American businessman from New York City, who has never killed anyone or caused a world war. Yet at 78, is supposedly reminiscent of the previous mid-century psychopath who was intent upon conquering Europe and Russia.
Kamala Harris, promoting herself as an exceptional California Attorney General, U.S. Senator and U.S. Vice President recently voiced the "Trump is like Hitler" analogy from her residence in Washington, D.C., Oct. 23.
Not a very intelligent allegation, considering her flippancy may encourage additional assassination attempts on Trump's life.
Perhaps she doesn't care, considering this is the same individual who has made a name for herself by being President Joe's Border Czar and continually reminding "The border is secure," even as millions of people unlawfully parade into our cities and towns.
An obvious intentional misstatement designed to misinform us of the realities going on along the border.
All of which makes me wonder, is Kamala completely out of touch with history, ignorant of what she's saying or playing political games in hopes of winning votes?
Then, there's the fourth possibility — she's just plain stupid. Which, coincidentally, is exactly what she previously called Gen-Z kids 18-24 years of age. "That's why we put them in dormitories with a resident assistant. They really make poor decisions" she pointed out to the audience back in 2015 when she was California's AG.
Now, of course, she's whistling a different tune because she needs their votes — "I love Gen-Z" she assured the crowd recently. Guess she currently believes the Gen-Zer's have suddenly gotten smarter.
Her change of attitude is typical. Kam's flip-flopped — lied — on a number of issues, depending upon the circumstances and necessity.
It might be well to remember Kamala was Joe's last choice for the VP job. She'd dropped out early from the 2016 Presidential campaign due to a lack of support. Former President Barack Obama didn't recommend her until no one was left. She's one of the most liberal members of Congress, been a government employee nearly her entire adult life, and seems to have difficulty maintaining an office staff.
However, she's told us on several occasions during her college days she worked at McDonald's as a fry cook.
Maybe. Except no evidence of that has been presented; not the restaurant where she supposedly worked, when she worked or how long she was employed. Nothing.
Just her word.
Unfortunately, I am not particularly certain how reliable that is.
With about a week to go before the election, Kamala's getting nervous. Opinion polls reflect her drop in popularity, even among minority segments of society. Blacks and Latinos are indicating an uptick in Trump support, as have labor unions who've either endorsed Trump or abstained from backing a candidate.
Adding to the discontent, we've grown tired of being called "deplorables, fascists, Nazis and racists." Verbal slams that do not encourage voter sympathy.
Liberal CNN is beginning to question her double-talk remarks and evasive replies to policy questions, other than her silly "Well, I'm not Joe Biden" retort. As if someone actually thought she was.
This nonsense has been going on since the Presidential baton was snatched from Joe and given to Kamala. She just can't give a straight answer.
The economy, border and slipping influence of the United States in world affairs are important factors in many people's minds. Things are considerably more expensive than a few years ago, our borders are in shambles and the world is reeling from constant turmoil.
Not a good mixture of confidence in Washington's administration. Little wonder Kamala's campaign is showing signs of fatigue. Things are starting to unravel, and her team appears baffled as to how to reverse the slide.
With President Joe sidelined by Democratic managers and replaced by Kamala — apparently the only choice Dems could muster on short notice — her skills and political expertise in managing a national government apparatus seem below average.
That is, if her past performances are indicative of future expectations.
Consequently, out of desperation and time, Democrats have pulled another one of their stunts Nancy Pelosi refers to as a "Wrap-up smear" — false narrative intended to besmirch the reputation and integrity of someone the Dems are having difficulty with.
In this case, it's Donald Trump. Who better to vilify and compare to one of the world's most maniacal villains than the 45th U.S. President?
If the Dems motives weren't so asinine and totally scatterbrained, their "Trump is the new Hitler" obsession would make for an interesting psychoanalysis study in some university medical class: How Donald J. Trump Became An American Fuhrer By Campaigning for Reelection.
Nevertheless, in Kamala's eyes Trump may be a Hitler wannabe and the worst person to walk the Earth since the Big Bang, but it's still exceedingly difficult for her to acknowledge her career as a public servant hasn't produced Nobel Prize winning results, either.
Or come close!
