Community Partnership for Children (CPC) is calling all families, fitness enthusiasts, and superheroes in disguise! Lace-up your running shoes and unleash your inner hero at this year's Superhero Family Fit Fest, a day of action-packed activities, healthy fun, and community spirit. Featuring a Family Fun Run, 5K, and 10K races, this event promises something for everyone—from seasoned runners to young sidekicks. Not a runner, no problem! Sign up for the Super Cornhole Clash 1st place prize is a set of cornhole boards per participant!! The September Spectacular Superhero Family Fit Fest is Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 8 AM to 4 PM at Bataan Memorial Park, in Santa Clara. The proceeds will ensure that all children in our community have access to quality and affordable early education and care.
Join us for an unforgettable day that combines fitness with family-friendly fun. Whether you're racing for the finish line or cheering on the sidelines, come dressed as your favorite superhero and be a part of an amazing day of health, happiness, and heroic deeds. Admission to the event is free, but registration is required for the race categories and the cornhole tournament. There will be over 20 booths and vendors, a free 360 Photo Booth for families to capture the moment, music, free family friendly activities, and a free foam party at the end of the event! Children ages 5 and under are free for all eligible categories. Scholarships for all races available upon request.
The race categories are as follows:
Caped Crusader Family Fun Run: This is the perfect race for families who want to participate and enjoy the event together. The run takes place amidst the action on the baseball field. Children under 5 are free and all others are $20.
Hero Hustle 5K: Wind your way through this moderately challenging trail race, racers 6 and up are $40.
Dragonfly Titan 10K Trek: This race follows the same course as the 5K and then makes a wide loop to the Dragonfly trailhead before heading back to the finish line. This all terrain trail run offers a beautiful time out on the old Fort Bayard trail system! Racers 6 and up are $50.
