Chorale2The 32 member mixed community choir is now rehearsing at Cross Point Church on Hwy. 180 in Silver City. Director Bryce Wooton says, "Our choir is grateful to Pastor Tim Heyer and his church for providing our weekly rehearsal venue. We will also be performing for the first time at Cross Point Church at 11600 Hwy. 180 E for our Sunday, December 8th concert at 3pm. On Friday, December 6th we will perform, as we have for several years now, at Terrazas Funeral Chapel, at 1 Ft. Bayard Road in Santa Clara at 7pm. Luis Terrazas and his staff are more than hospitable and accommodating. They even live stream our performance, and we have had over 400 views on Facebook. It's great to be able to present an evening concert in the mining district at the Terrazas chapel and one in the afternoon at Cross Point for those who do not like to drive at night."

Chorale1"The concert is a lighter mix of holiday favorites and fall selections," states choir President, Priscilla Mathena. Some of the songs being presented are Autumn Vesper, December's Keep, Prayers for Shalom, Hodie Fanfare and Still, Still, Still. Old favorites will include O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, Christmas Bells Are Ringing and My True Love Gave To Me, plus many others.

The choir is accompanied by Laurel Brown and assistant director is Valdeen Wooton. The concerts are free to the public.

The choir is a 501C-3 non profit organization and has benefited from the Give Grandly benefactors. Numerous members participated in the fund-raising event this May and even sang for the event and gratefully thanks everyone who contributed to the choir's endeavors. Although the chorale is
