The eight members of The Local Vocals, an octet organized by Gaye Rock, a vocalist, voice coach and pianist herself. The group is comprised of Sandy Shelley, Mary Barrett, Rhonda Gorog, Gaye Rock, (back row) Sherry Terrazas-Wooton, Barry Agnew, Bryce Wooton and Doug Medin. The octet members are familiar vocalist/musicians from the Silver City area who have performed here for many years, thus called "The Local Vocals". The Silver Ringtones, a women's barbershop quartet will be performing also. This quartet includes Sandy Shelley, Mary Barrett from the octet, as well as Judith Delgado and Gay Hedges. They have sung at The Hi Lo Silvers concerts in the past. Come enjoy a diverse repertoire of classical, contemporary and barbershop harmonies. The two performances will be at 7pm Friday, April 11th and at 3pm Sunday April 13th at The Starlight Theater, 20th and Gold Streets in Silver City. $10 At the door. For more info call 575-956-5200.
