The Mango Cakes hail from the vibrant streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their Music is a delectable fusion of pop and soul with a sprinkle of funk. With years of success and experience, they have electrified stages creating spaces of spontaneity and joy for hundreds every night.

Born and raised in the Arizona-Sonora borderlands to a family of Irish-Slavic descent and now based in Tucson, Arizona, Dirtyverbs was a resident DJ at Tucson's historic Hotel Congress 2012-2022 and is an organizer and host of El Tambó ("Best Danceparty," Tucson Weekly). He has played and hosted a number of Arizona's keystone cultural events, including the All Souls Procession and the Rialto Theatre's New Years Eve Party, playing both events annually 2013-2018. Dirtyverbs has playedMontreal, Bogotá, Mexico City, SXSW and has shared the stage withBuyepongo (LA), A Tribe Called Red (Canada), Lido Pimienta (Colombia / Canada), Dos Santos (Chicago), Amadou & Miriam (Mali) and many more. Though a specialist in cumbia and other styles of Latino music, he also mixes hip-hop, soul, funk, disco and more.
