Tuesday, March 18, 2025 I ANTHONY GOMEZ was found guilty by a Silver City jury on 1 count of Possession of a controlled substance, [2nd Degree Felony], Sixth Judicial District Attorney Norman R. Wheeler announced.
On January 4, 2024, a Silver City police officer arrested Gomez for an outstanding warrant. Upon arrest, Officers found Fentanyl in Gomez's possession. Gomez has past criminal history involving possession, aggravated battery, and breaking and entering.
