Come hear about Naava's journey in time and place as an herbalist and owner of Bear Creek Herbs. Naava holds space for the traditions of healing in New Mexico while at the same time earning the respect of the medical community. "We've been here for 33 years, but given the change in climate, supply challenges, as well as challenges with COVID, we've had to constantly reinvent how we do business."
"Naava has a very important role in our community as an herbalist and herb shop owner." said Silver City MainStreet Project's Admin Assistant, Cindy "Renee" Provencio. "I was privileged to be able to apprentice with her several summers ago and I got to learn a bit of her story. I am thrilled that she agreed to be our next story teller and that I and others get to hear more about her incredible journey of becoming a revered herbalist in our community!"
Join us at Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery on Wednesday, February 21 for the opportunity to hear more of Naava's story of her entrepreneur journey! Plan on coming at 5:30 PM to order some amazing food and drinks along with a bit of schmoozing before we kick-off Story Time at 6 PM, followed by time for more schmoozing.
