Caller – son is dead in the house/30-years-old/there is a gun there by him. Caller called states her stepson is dead/he was home alone since Friday. Silver City PD advised to contact OMI.
Tuesday, Jan. 21
Suspicious persons
Caller saw two males working on a broke-down vehicle blocking the northbound lane off of Brushy Mountain/they have a fire burning in the road. NMSP was contacted/they do not have any officers in this area. Deputy advised negative contact with the vehicle but did put out the little fire by putting dirt on it/will now be clear and heading back into jurisdiction.

Caller states she has property here in Silver City owned by herself and brother-in-law and it is supposed to be empty but over time they came back to the property and found the home was trashed and had beds inside. They went and cleaned out the whole house at that time. She did go by recently and found someone had taken down the locked fence and got into the house again. Requests a frequent patrol for the month.

Caller states there are thudding sounds inside the pawnshop/it should be closed at this time. Deputy – building is secured/negative contact with anyone/will be clear.

Caller says her husband is on parole and is intoxicated/would not let caller leave and go to her mom's. Deputy – subject left the area prior to arrival.

Caller advised her nephew is fighting with everyone/he just walked outside and left in a green SUV. Deputy – in area ATL.

Caller advised a male in a white Acura just robbed him/male already left/it was a black handgun/someone else in the store identified the male.

Caller advised a nearby house has been vacant for three weeks now and there are mattresses and belongings from inside the house outside. Deputy advised open door/units will be clear/was able to make contact with a female who claims to live at residence.
