Walk-in requests welcheck on his kids/ Officer had negative contact.

Shoplifting
101 Tom Foy Blvd.
Someone just walked out the back door with a basket/caller has it on camera/black BMW/it is gone now/east on Highway 180.

Welfare check
Tom Foy Blvd.
73-year-old male is not answering his phone or calling caller back. Officer – male is okay/he will call his grandson.

Larceny
Maple Street
Caller from New Mexico Gas Company stated he needs LE to the neighbor to this address stealing gas. Officer had negative contact with them and spoke with supervisor from Gas Company/this was more of a standby.

Larceny
Poplar Street
Stated the father of her child stole her debit card. Deputy – property returned to owner/parties separated/card was not stolen but misplaced/no charges.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Welfare check
Highway 356 and Central Avenue
Male walking from Bayard on Highway 356/caller stopped to see if he needed help and he said no, I am going to kill myself. Deputy made contact with male who confirmed he had suicidal ideations.

N. Elm Street and Central Avenue
Male and female in front of the Jerky Store vomiting. Officer had negative contact.

Sunday, Oct. 20

Welfare check
Coffey Street and Central Avenue
Male has been lying on the platform of the railroad station for the past two hours.

Criminal damage to property
Stewart Street
Someone threw a rock through caller's double-paned window about five minutes ago/doesn't know who did it. Deputy – clear/set up frequent patrol for two weeks reference suspicious person activity.

Unwanted subject
Main Street
Her two sons are outside drinking with some friends/caller does not want them out there/stated she was holding a bat and they grabbed it out of her hands. Can hear one of the sons arguing with the caller. Deputy – NMSP officer has one subject in custody.

Hurley Police Department

Friday, Oct. 18

Domestic disturbance
Santa Rita Street – 10:59 a.m.
Caller advised a named female is beating up her mother/she has mother in the shed at the neighbor's house/she can hear her mother yelling for people not to hit her.

Welfare check
D Street
A named subject asked caller to call police in reference to her 51-year-old daughter/unknown what is going on/stated her daughter is intoxicated and slamming doors then drank a bottle of Metformin and left. Caller wants to document what happened in case something happens to her.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Santa Rita Street – 12:44 a.m.
Caller advised his daughter is possibly under the influence/he is tired of dealing with her and her always making false reports to police about how her mom being chopped up and people beating her up. Caller says she is crazy and he needs someone to help him with her. Deputy – everything is okay/clear.

Domestic disturbance
Santa Rita Street – 11:14 p.m.
Caller stated he is visiting his brother and his daughter is threatening with a knife/they took it away from her. Dispatch can hear arguing in the background. Deputy has one in investigative detention.

Friday, Oct. 18

Welfare check
Santa Clara
Caller wants to check on his 9- and 12-year-old daughters/they were last with a named female and she was arrested in Luna County last weekend/caller has no idea where his children are/he wants to make sure they are okay and bring them home with him.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Burglary
Boulder street
Someone broke into the house and took items. Deputy – clear from address/attempted to get video from neighbor/none available.

Accident-property damage
11988 Highway 180
Vehicle hit a deer/someone pulled deer out of the roadway. Another caller states the deer is still alive in front of the armory. Officer – putting deer down/one shot/next wrecker on rotation/XCFD for clean up.
