Malena Cadiz & Anna Ash
L.A. based folk artist Malena Cadiz & Country Rock'n'roll rebel Anna Ash (on tour together)
Doors: 7pm • • $10/advance • $12/door
L.A. based folk artist Malena Cadiz is a lady of the canyon waylaid at a suburban strip mall, acutely aware of how romance shines through even in the moments of grit and desolation. There's something Didion-esque about Cadiz's storytelling as she crafts deeply personal vignettes that reveal greater narratives about the world we live in, capturing the strange beauty and humor of day to day life. Growing up a second-generation Filipino-American, Cadiz bounced between living in the suburbs of Michigan with her mother and bustling Singapore with her father. "I always felt rootless, not quite belonging to either place." This longing for home and search for center rests at the heart of Cadiz's work. The Fader has likened her work to Karen Dalton and NPR compared her to "an earthbound Joanna Newsom, Cadiz has a voice that grabs you within seconds." Her songs have been featured on "Nancy Drew" (CW), "Lucifer" (Netflix), "REBEL" (ABC), among others.
Anna Ash writes songs of profound, startling, sensuous insight. Call it country, call it rock'n'roll, call it pulling off the road somewhere between Silver Lake and Bakersfield just to roll a cigarette, kick at the gravel, and brood. She's released four full-length albums, but has become widely known due to the success of her version of "Righteously," a song written by Lucinda Williams.

Lola Kirke
Pop/ Outlaw Country
Doors: 7:00pm • $20/advance • $25/door
Limited First Come seating!
Lola Kirke has played many roles as an actress ("Mozart in the Jungle," "Gone Girl," "Winning Time"), but as a musician her sights have always been set squarely on Country. "I don't totally get it either," laughs the London born New York raised Kirke. "But I've always been drawn to dynamic parts for women, and I can't think of any other genre where we can be mothers, heartbreakers, glamorous, gritty, drunk, tender, and everything in between all at once." Kirke released her critically acclaimed sophomore LP "Lady For Sale" on the much respected Third Man Records in 2022, and played sold out shows with the likes of Jenny Lewis, and Margo Price. Kirke's commitment and talent were clear enough to hitmakers like Aaron Ratiere (Miranda Lambert), Mary Kutter (Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith), and Jason Nix (Lainey Wilson), with whom she wrote the bulk of her latest EP "Country Curious." "Lola is a stunning combination of wildness, beauty, and humor, with a voice that digs inside my head and heart," says the legendary Rosanne Cash, one of Kirke's all time heroes, and her collaborator on "Karma. I honestly adore this woman and count myself both a friend and her biggest fan." Cash continues. After listening to Kirke sing, or catching one of her effervescent live shows, you'll be hard pressed to disagree.
