HIP-HOP-ZOCALO/ with Ceschi / Factor Chandelier /AJ Suede / Esh & The Isolations
Underground Hip-Hop Fest!
Doors: 6:30pm • $15/advance
Please Note: This Show is Scheduled on a night we are normally closed.
An engaging, theatrical live performer, Ceschi Ramos has treated entire venues like a stage, viewing the middle of the audience or an empty barstool as good a place as any to perform a soul-baring folk song or tongue-twisting rap track.
He knows what it is to suffer for his art and is aware that music exploring the ugliness and sorrow of the human condition will always exist on the fringes of a game dominated by disposable escapism and expensive publicists. Yet he still pours everything he has into his craft, and on any given night you can find him tracking vocals at his cousin's New Haven studio, warmly greeting fans and friends at a dive bar merch booth or rapping double-time in Japan or Europe for audiences that often don't speak his language, but are able to see the giant heart at the core of it all.
He has been in bands described as hardcore, crunk rap, lo-fi synth pop, Latin progressive and psych-jazz-rap. He has crafted abstracted and personal narratives mining the depths of depression and heights of hope. He has slept on countless floors when hotels weren't in the touring budget and lost girlfriends and jobs all for the love of creating and performing.
Ceschi was born with four fingers on his right hand, which served as partial inspiration for the name of his DIY record label, Fake Four, Inc. Those who have worked with him describe Ceschi as one of the most artist-friendly label-heads out there, a rare breed who values art over profit almost to a fault
Known for his psychedelic amalgamation of East Coast and Northwest sounds, Seattle based rapper/producer AJ Suede has carved a lane of his own. With a prolific discography of over 40 projects, he shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. He has shared the stage with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Xavier Wulf, R.A.P. Ferreira, Marc Rebillet and many more. With features in outlets like SPIN, The Seattle Times, KEXP, Okayplayer and Lyrical Lemonade just to name a few.
All proceeds go to paying the Performers and Supporting Live Music.
Esh & The Isolations is a Boston-based rap artist known for his dynamic and innovative blend of gritty lyricism with eclectic production. Esh & The Isolations has been a staple of the Boston underground hip-hop scene for over a decade, steadily building a reputation for his sharp wit and genre-defying creativity. Pushing the boundaries of what hip-hop can be, crafting music that is both intellectually challenging and deeply personal. With a growing discography and a reputation for electrifying live performances, Esh & The Isolations is carving out a unique space in the music world, one that is distinctly his own.

Levi Platero Band
Blues & Vintage Rock
Doors: 7:00pm • $12/advance
Levi Platero is from the Navajo Nation of the Southwest region of the United States. With his family band "The Plateros" they emerged on the music scene in 2004 as a blues rock power trio compared to the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Los Lonely Boys and ZZ Top. After a decade of touring the US with his family band, a one and half year run as a member of the Indigenous (Lakota blues band), Levi decided it was time to get back to his own music. He then recruited a new band, began touring, went into the studio and released a self-titled EP featuring the single "Take Me Back" which went on to win the 2016 New Mexico Music Awards for Best Blues.
Levi is a great example of a guitar player with a gift of guitar playing intuition of much more experienced player. Levi's quiet nature is unleashed in a style that mixes a spectrum of Texas Blues, vintage rock, to modern guitar heroes such as Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. With a captivating live show he ranges from flurries of guitar acrobatics all the way down to soulful expressiveness. Levi is a guitarist and talent to be reckoned with and will continue to shine in the Blues/Rock genre.
All proceeds go to paying the Performers and Supporting Live Music.

Scott H. Biram
The Dirty Old One Man Band
Doors: 6:30pm • $15/advance
Please Note: This Show is Scheduled on a night we are normally closed.
Scott H. Biram unleashes a fervent display of conviction through, not only the genuine blues, classic country, bluegrass, and rock n roll, but he seals the deal with punk, heavy metal, and frankly, anything else he wants to. He's The Dirty Old One Man Band.
He will still the room with haunting South Texas blues, then turn it upside down, into a truck driver's mosh pit. Like he says, it might be baptism, or it might be murder, either way...you gonna see the light. This legally ordained preacher's singing, yodeling, growling, leering
and brash preachin' and hollerin' is accompanied by sloppy riffs, and licks literally yanked, one at a time, out of his collection of crusty, worn out, Gibson hollow-body guitars, and battle axes. All this held down with a pounding backbeat brought forth by his amplified left foot, and self customed stomp board. The remainder of this brutally charming one-man band consists of an unwieldy combination of beat-up amplifiers and old microphones strung together by a tangled mess of guitar cables. Don't get too close! You gonna get some grease on ya! Years of compulsive touring, along with a steady diet of down and dirty blues, rock, punk, country, and hillbilly have developed Scott H. Biram's signature concoction, attracting a hefty array of fans who dig the bizarre and twisted sides of the rock and roll spectrum. His live shows, performed all over the world, deliver a take no prisoners attitude, a stomping, pulsing John Lee Hooker-channeling, and cockeyed tales of black water baptisms and murder, all while romanticizing the
on-the-road lifestyle.
All proceeds go to paying the Performers and Supporting Live Music.

Jono Manson/ Juniper Djiin
Americana Singer Songwriter / Gypsy jazz
Doors: 6:30pm • $12/ advance
Jono Manson is a prolific singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, master storyteller, and an accomplished audio engineer and producer. During a storied career that spans over five decades he has played everywhere from the local dive to Madison Square Garden and has amassed an impressive discography that includes major label and indie releases on three continents. His work has been covered by numerous artists and has been featured in major motion pictures on network television, and in national advertising campaigns. Jono has produced albums for Grammy winners and local heroes alike.
Manson's songs are diverse and genre-bending, drawing on roots, rock, soul, pop and country traditions as they paint vivid portraits of resilient characters standing tall in the face of time's relentless march, and his performances are similarly determined, delivered with a passion and conviction that's as honest as it is empathetic. When he's not on tour with Blues Traveler, Jone is emphatically working on new music. While it would be easy for him to rest on his laurels at this point in his career, each new release is anything but a trip down memory lane; but rather the start of a brand-new chapter, the work of an inspired artist determined to continue forging his legacy one song at a time.
"Manson attacks the high art of low-rent songcraft with a paid assassin's precision." - No Depression Magazine
Juniper Djiin encompasses clarinet dreamscapes amongst a sea of melodious waltzes, the billowing sounds of early American jazz, gypsy jazz, and Balkan folk music. The duos originals reflect a familiar feeling of 30s & 40s nostalgia and timeless tunes ingrained deep within traditional American and European jazz. The duo is best known for their live performances in which they play an array of genres spanning across decades of time and regularly features other musicians from across the globe. Singer, clarinet player, and rhythm guitarist Jessica Fleet is the main vocal of the group with a voice that has been described as an angel and a demon singing in harmony with her powerful vocals, dynamic vocal range, and deep growl.
Multi-instrumentalist Bill Stoller is the other half of the duo with his incredible, studious guitar playing, rhythmic accompaniment, accordion and upright bass on the duos albums. With over a decade of experience playing in different bands and touring, Juniper Djinn brings a transformative atmosphere of sound and musicians with each and every show.
