Armando Chavira, 75, Deming resident passed away February 14, 2025 at his residence.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel where recitation of the holy rosary will take place at 6 o'clock led by Nena Juarez. On Wednesday morning he will be transported to Colonia Fernandez Leal, Janos, Chihuahua where he will be placed to rest at the Cemeterio Municipal.

Armando was born in October 23, 1949 at Casa de Janos, Chihuahua to Josefa Bencomo and Simon Chavira. He worked as a cowboy most of his working years and loved to go to the horse races. He liked to be with his family and sing to them whenever he had a chance on family gatherings, parties and just because, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a friendly man and well known.

He is survived by his wife; Silvia Ramirez, sons; Ubaldo Chavira, Luis Chavira, Adrian Chavira (Lizbeth Aguilar), Armando Chavira, Andres Rodriguez, Ubaldo Rodriguez and Juan Diego (Joyce) Rodriguez, daughters; Margarita Chavira (Santos Amaro), Griselda Chavira (Salvador Sanchez), Beatriz Chavira (Jorge Sandoval Miranda) and Diana Angelina (Gerardo) Soto, 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, siblings; Alejandro, Ramon (Pilar), Atilano and Evangelina Chavira.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Eduardo Chavira, siblings; Simon, Amalia, Josefina, Aurora, Adelina, Elisa and Catalina Chavira.

Armando Chavira, de 75 años, residente de Deming, falleció el 14 de febrero de 2025 en su residencia.

La visitacion se llevará a cabo el martes 18 de febrero de 2025 a las 4 de la tarde en la Funeraria Baca's, donde se rezara el santo rosario a las 6 en punto dirigido por Nena Juárez. La mañana del miércoles será trasladado a la Colonia Fernández Leal, Janos, Chihuahua donde será velado y sera llevado al Cementerio Municipal a su lugar de descanso eterno.

Armando nació el 23 de octubre de 1949 en Casa de Janos, Chihuahua, hijo de Josefa Bencomo y Simón Chavira. Trabajó como vaquero la mayor parte de sus años laborales y le encantaba ir a las carreras de caballos. Le gustaba estar con su familia y cantarles cada vez que tenía la oportunidad en reuniones familiares, fiestas y porque sí, pero sobre todo le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos. Era un hombre amable y muy conocido.

Le sobrevive su esposa; Silvia Ramírez, hijos; Ubaldo Chavira, Luis Chavira, Adrián Chavira (Lizbeth Aguilar), Armando Chavira, Andrés Rodríguez, Ubaldo Rodríguez y Juan Diego (Joyce) Rodríguez, hijas; Margarita Chavira (Santos Amaro), Griselda Chavira (Salvador Sánchez), Beatriz Chavira (Jorge Sandoval Miranda) y Diana Angelina (Gerardo) Soto, 25 nietos y 9 bisnietos, hermanos; Alejandro, Ramón (Pilar), Atilano y Evangelina Chavira.
