Caron Yeuton Reay Hill, age 69, passed away on October 14, 2024, after a short illness. She was born on October 7, 1955 in Lordsburg, NM, to Victor Henry and Mittie Yeaton (Hood) Reay. She graduated from Lordsburg High School in 1973. She married Stephen Dale Hill on May 4, 1972.

The funeral service for Caron will begin at ten o'clock in the morning on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silver City, NM. Concluding Services and Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Lordsburg, NM.

Caron was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Savior. She spent her days in the service of family, friends, and anyone in need. While her husband was often the face of the service rendered, Caron was the one behind the scenes, noticing the needs and directing dad to act. She was the background angel who brought joy and relief without receiving credit, which is just how she wanted it.

Caron was an avid baker, crafter, sewer, quilter, and painter at various points in her life. She loved to try new things, especially if those things resulted in something she could share with others. She loved to travel, which led to many redneck adventures with her husband, family, and sometimes friends! Anyone invited on a Hill Family Trip knew the speed would max out at 45 mph, there would be at least three vehicle breakdowns, and that the laughter would flow freely.

She loved deeply, smiled often, and laughed freely. She brought joy to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and stepfather, Garland McHalffey.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Dale Hill; her five children, Christopher (Stephanie) Hill, Victor (Hilie) Hill, Tanya Allred, Cindy (Jared) Johnson, and James (Vicki) Hill; her brothers, Dewey (Sharon) Reay and Steve (Barbara) Reay; her sisters, Toni (Bob) Lowery and Kelly (Robin) Braziel; her unofficially adopted children, Courtney and Marvin White; and her 22 grandchildren: Keenan, Erin, and Taylor Hill; Corbyn, Pacie, and Tatum Hill; Nathan Allred; Jayden and Alex Goggin; Andy, Saige, Celeste, and Jordan Johnson; Connor, Duncan, Sarah, Allison, and Vanessa Hill; and Harrison (Emma), Olivia, Bella, and Sophia White.
