Jordan "Shorty Pants" Nicole Harmon, 29, a resident of Santa Clara, NM, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at her residence. She was born on November 6, 1994 to her parents, Matthew and Yvette in Green River, Wyoming.Â
She loved dirt bikes, basketball, dancing, animals, art and was an awesome singer, and loved exploring. She could light up a room with her smile and will be deeply missed and loved by all her friends and family.
She is survived by her father, Matthew Lowell Harmon (Kellie) of Green River, WY; her mother Yvette Jean Thomas (Archie) of Santa Clara, NM; her brothers Ashton Koening (Melissa) of Chantilly, VA. and Jeremy Harmon of Green River, WY;  her three sisters, Veronica Gardea (Rocky Potter) of Vancouver, WA, Jaydan Thomas and Alexandra Thomas of Santa Clara, NM; her maternal grandparents Ernest H Portillo (Sally) of Santa Clara, NM, paternal grandparents Layle and Marie Harmon of Springville UT; her step-brothers Brandyn Jensen of Fairbanks AK and Arye Ydiando of Kingman AZ; her step-sisters Stephanie Otter (Cameron) of Rock Springs WY., Jessica Carbajal (Daniel) of St. George, UT; Aunts Sylvia Portillo of Santa Clara, NM, Edith Justensen (Mark) and Susan Thomas of Green River, WY and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Edward Paul Portillo "Uncle Eddie in heaven".
Gilbert "Gasman" Chavez Hill, 55, a resident of Santa Fe NM, formally from Silver City, NM, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024 of Congestive Heart Failure. Â He was born to his parents Richard and Nadine (Chavez) Hill on August 16, 1968 in Silver City, NM.
Gilbert's work ethic was always do your best and be good at "it"; Gilbert's passion for motorcycles was imbedded in his heart and soul. His riding brothers were T-Bone, Cowboy, & Tom Getner.Â
Gilbert is survived by his daughter Alexandria; his son Richard (Bailey) Hill of Albuquerque NM.; his brother Rene (Jessica) Hill & family; Uncle Carlos Chavez (Esperanza); Aunts Consuelo, Rosie and Diane; numerous cousins and friends; girlfriend Kathy Anaya-Romero and family. Gilbert was proceeded in death by his loving mother Nadine M Hill; his father Richard Hill; grandparents Lupe V (Veronica) Hill, Carlos (Gomecinda) Chavez; aunt Sarah & Danny Chavez; Tia Chelo Vallejos and cousin Jerry Chavez; and his best childhood friend, Alex Sierra.

Juanita Klement, 92, a resident of Silver City, NM, entered eternal rest on Saturday April 27, 2024 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. Arrangements are pending with Terrazas Funeral Chapels ~ 575-537-0777.
Jacqueline Michele "Jacqui" (Kerby) Merrill, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in El Paso, Texas. She was born August 26, 1969 to her parents, Jacques and Billie Jayne (Sweet) Kerby in Gardena, California.Â
She was a bright light to everyone who loved her, especially her husband. Jacqui adored her dogs. Her favorite place was the family ranch, where she found peace in the beautiful sunsets. She will be tremendously missed.Â
She is survived by her husband, Ray Allen Merrill, Sr.; her daughter, Katrina Nelson of California; her four sisters, Kathie Courtney, Monica Lambert, Elizabeth Jones, Jenny Souder; her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Mary Jayne Nelson.Â
Memorial services will be held on May 4, 2024, at 11:00am at Messiah Lutheran Church in Silver City, NM, officiated by Pastor Joseph Pellegrino. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jacqui's memory. Â
Esther JoAnn Duncan, 86, passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. Arrangements are pending under the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels.
