The New Mexico Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Education at Western New Mexico University will host the 22nd Annual Family Counseling Center Conference, February 7, 2025. The theme of this year's conference is "Creating Essential Connections Through Play."

Deputy spoke with a named male who said the incident occurred yesterday but didn’t know the address the dogs came from. Deputy ATL’d the area and did not see any loose dogs.

Deputy spoke with the same named male as above who advised he has been caring for two dogs on Rosedale Road since the owner passed away/asked if deputy could meet him and take the dogs to the High Desert Humane Society since the family doesn’t want them.

Silver City native Jessica Salaiz is the program specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters and will talk about reestablishing a presence in the community. BBBS hopes to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children to help youth reach their full potential.
The hope to ignite the power of youth, create meaningful matches, develop positive relationships, and Have a lasting effect on young people's lives.
There are speakers on the patio if you wish to listen to the service outside.
