June 17, 1955 – August 20, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rozenda Limon, age 69, of Silver City, New Mexico. Rozenda was born on June 17, 1955, in Silver City to Reymundo and Jennie Gonzales. After a brave and valiant battle with cancer, she passed away on August 20, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Rozenda was known for her strong business acumen, building a successful career as a respected businesswoman. Even after retirement, she continued to lend her bookkeeping expertise to various organizations she was passionate about. In her later years, Rozenda also discovered a new passion, a passion for golf, traveling to tournaments near and far with dear friends and her beloved companion, Al Cabrera.
Among all her accomplishments, Rozenda's greatest pride was her children, Elena and Daniel, whom she shared with her former husband and cherished friend, Francisco Limon. Her devotion to them was unwavering, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them.

Bryan Joseph West, 59, Deming resident passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Monday, September 2, 2024. He was born on September 2, 1965 in Ridley Park, PA to Russell Eugene West and Shirley Ann Bryan.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at Bayard Municipal Cemetery in Bayard, NM. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Sheridan Leonard Rice of Deming, NM has been laid to rest until our Lord Jesus comes to take us home, 1 Thessalonians 4:16. Born August 13, 1938 in Jerome, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Earl Rice and Beatrice (Smith) Rice. He is preceded in death by his late wife Janet in 1988, brothers Jerry, Allen and sisters Donna and Betty. Sheridan is survived by his daughters Lisa and Helen Rice of Deming, NM and stepdaughters Patricia Taylor of Wellsville, PA and Deborah Redding of Hanover, PA. 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; stepbrother Blane. Sheridan was a retired Diesel Mechanic and member of the Seventh-Day-Adventist Church of Deming, NM. He was a great father who loved the Lord with all his heart. Honor his memory by living a righteous life in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Maureen Frances Godlewski, 75, Deming resident passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in El Paso, TX. She was born May 26, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to Burt Porter and Patricia Corti.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the Deming Court House Park Pavilion. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
