John Neal "Butch" Wallace
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend Butch Wallace of Cliff, NM. He was received by our Good Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Butch was a very caring and ornery man that was loved and respected by his community. His mischievous sparkle in his eyes left everyone wondering what was next, and heart of gold that all will remember. Butch will be greatly missed. He had a resolute belief in Jesus Christ as our savior and although we grieve, we are assured that he is with our Lord. "And we are not afraid but are quite gratified to die for then we will be at home with the Lord." (II Corinthians 5:8)
He was born to Robert "Bob" and Ruby Wallace in Silver City, NM on August 25,1938. He passed away peacefully at home in Cliff, NM at the age of 86 years old. He is survived by his seven children, oodles of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Bob and Ruby Wallace, sister Willie Rae Stailey, and granddaughter Katelynn Munsell.
