SAMUEL CALVIN PIERCE, 75, resident of Deming passed away Wednesday April 10, 2024 at his home.
Visitation will be Friday morning, April 19, 2024 at 9 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel where funeral services will begin at 10 o'clock with Rev. Dr. Reggie Price officiating. Concluding services with honors accorded will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Samuel was born July 16, 1948 in Deming to Samuel C. and Nevolyn (Sparks) Pierce. He grew up in Deming and graduated from Deming High School. He later entered the United States Army in December 1968. SSG Samuel Calvin Pierce served his country for 11 years. His primary occupation was an Aviation Mechanic and Quality Control Supervisor.

Barbara Martinez Guerrero, lifelong resident of Lordsburg, NM peacefully entered Eternal rest on Sunday, April14, 2024 in Lordsburg, NM, surrounded by her loving family.
Family viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Visitation at 9:30 a.m. The Holy Rosary will be recited by her grandson, Randy A. Rodriguez and daughter-in-law Sandra Guerrero, at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jude Okonkwo officiating. Internment will take place at Shakespeare Cemetery following the mass. Serving as pallbearers are Joseph M. Guerrero, Jr., Adam Michael Guerrero, Lorenzo A. Guerrero, Randy A. Rodriguez, Silas Hutchcraft, and Louie Baisa. Honorary pallbearers are Gabriel Guerrero, Jr., Joseph Guerrero, Sr., Lorenzo Guerrero, Rudy Arambula, Sr., Randy Rodriguez and all her nephews.

Raymundo O. Padilla, 75, a resident of Lordsburg, NM, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Silver City Care Center in Silver City, NM. Arrangements are pending with Terrazas Funeral Chapels ~ 575-537-0777.
BEVERLY ANN KOSTELNIK, 91, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Victor A. Kostelnik. Beverly was born June 23, 1932 in Columbus, New Mexico to Raymond and Lola Reed. She is survived by three children, Deb Bennett (Marty), Ray Kostelnik, and Kim Kostelnik. Five grandchildren, Mercedes Lilijegran, Ryan Bennett, Nicole Bennett Owen, Ashley Kostelnik, Desiree Kostelnik. Six great grandchildren, Kira Lilijegran, Siena Lilijegran, Chase Bennett, Cole Bennett, James Owen and Cora Owen. Sister Diane Farquhar (Win), brother Skip Reed.
A private service was held per Beverly's wishes. Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly's memory to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
