Those who had the privilege of knowing Delfina will remember her as a selfless individual who always prioritized the needs of others above her own. Her generous and nurturing nature shone through as she made sure nobody ever came to her home without her getting up to make a meal if she didn't have something made, leaving her home hungry or antojado (craving). Delfina's culinary skills were renowned among her family, friends and community, particularly her delicious gorditas!
Aside from tending to her loved ones and creating mouth-watering dishes, Delfina found joy in spending as much time with her family and friends. She always knew what was going on and would put you on hold while she answered the call coming in or other phone ringing. We would joke and say, " Mom is the Grand Central." Her warm personality and giving spirit touched the lives of many.
